Usui Reiki Level 1 Workshop with Kok Wai (11am - 5pm, Sat, 10 April 2010)

Reiki is believed to have ancient origins. It is a all-natural and non-intrusive and holistic healing system which harnesses universal life-force energy to accelerate the natural healing process of the recipient. This universal life force energy is known by many names in many cultures, such as 'prana' in India and 'chi' in China. Reiki practitioners believe that this life force energy is present and an essential component in all life. This life force nourishes the organs and cells of the body, supporting them in their vital functions. When this flow of life force is disrupted, it causes diminished function in one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body, and may eventually lead to physical, emotional, mental & spiritual imbalances, such as dis-ease, anger, depression, and other forms of illness.

The life force is responsive to thoughts and feelings. It becomes disrupted when we accept, either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves. These negative thoughts and feelings attach themselves to the energy field and cause a disruption in the flow of life force. This diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body.

Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears,

straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.

Kok Wai is a practitioner of Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT) and Spiritual Restructuring (SpR). SRT has played a significant role in the evolution and transformation of his life in facilitating an ever growing clarity of connection with his Soul and to his life purpose. He feels blessed to have experienced the powerful clearing and healing through the SRT not just for himself but also for family, friends and clients alike. SRT also facilitates the empowerment of individuals to reclaim control over their lives on Earth and as a Divine Spark of creation.

He also practices and teaches Reiki, in addition to practicing Isis Blue Lotus Healing and other healing modalities of working with the Masters and the Angelic realm.
