Why (our mission and philosophy)
- - To promote, support and nurture alternative healing, personal wellness and mind-body-spirit disciplines;
- - To facilitate and support the work & service of all healers, facilitators, teachers & lightworkers;
- - To facilitate and serve others in their journey towards personal awareness, healing, empowerment, and enlightenment.
Where
Housed in a quaint 2-storey pre-war building with a garden and indoor courtyard, Lightworks is located in the charming and increasingly quirky Changkat area of downtown K.L. We are next door to the jazz club ‘No Black Tie’ and the trendy and iconic eatery ‘Palate Pallette’.
What
With close to 3,000 sq ft of space, the Ground floor comprises a New Age retail section with a comprehensive selection of book and CD titles, tarot and divination card decks, crystals & gems and jewelry, Mikael Zayat’s essential oils, and numerous high- vibrational and unique new age tools and products.
The First floor on the other hand, has dedicated spaces for healing, consultations, and workshops, with a large 590 sq ft main seminar/workshop & yoga space, and two smaller healing and consultation rooms.
How (our service to the world)
Light, love, healing and learning!!! Anything else is non-essential. How do we do this? Whatever it takes: workshops, private healing/consultation sessions, books, CDs, oils, tools, crystals … if it works, we will have it!
We also have an informal policy for our retail: we only carry products which we feel will confer a real and positive benefit to people
Come!
Do come and visit us! Very often people will just come in and sit in the energy of our space, and they tell us they experienced a subtle healing. Others might just have a quick chat with us or quick browse of our books, and they ‘co-incidentally’ find the higher advice or inspiration they were looking for. We like to think that everybody leaves with a gift!
Honour One and All
Lightworks is non–exclusive in its philosophy and approach. We embrace and honour diversity. We believe each individual is a unique part and perspective of the All-That-Is. Like-wise, we believe every modality and discipline offers its own unique gifts and has its appropriate place in the Universe, be it qi gong, yoga, reiki, pranic healing, ayurveda, crystal healing, meditation, aromatherapy, color therapy, and the likeThis is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:

Greetings!
It has been 4 years since Lightworks first opened its doors for service, and what an amazing ride it has been.
Looking back, Lightworks seems not only to have developed a life of its own, but in many ways Lightworks has been a catalyst for my personal evolution. Oftentimes it brings me gifts: in the people I meet, the challenges I encounter and the lessons that it offers. Lightworks has become for me, both a great friend and a caring teacher.
I once read somewhere that every person on earth is on a spiritual path, irregardless of whether a person is ‘spiritually inclined’ or otherwise. There is really no choice in the matter. The difference however, between a person who consciously chooses to grow spiritually and one who does not, is that in the case of the former, the process of growth is more likely to be joyful, whereas in the latter, learning one’s lessons is more likely to involve some pain and suffering. But either way, spiritual growth and learning is assured. It is an inevitable process of our evolution.
It is inevitable also, that each soul will eventually find his or her way ‘home’. This is because in reality, there is really no other place that we can end up. A greater truth is this: we never really separated ourselves from Home to begin with!
And so it is, that if Lightworks is able to serve you in any small way, in making your path a bit more joyful or easier, then Lightworks would have indeed fulfilled its highest purpose!
And to all the lightworkers in the world, I dedicate this as a remembrance of who you are:
